Google latitude

Foursquare and Facebook places... if that wasnt creepy/stalker enough for you now apple has came out with something even more impressive.
Google latitude has been around for over a year but Apple has now let it be used through the iphone. The app shows real time geotracking at any time anywhere, its able to track you on a google map.

Unlike foursquare, where you check in, it is able to track your every move, including your moves inside the mall not just at the mall. There are diff apps for diff types of maps.

I guess for all those worried mothers, stalker girlfriends and friends that you can never get a hold of out there, well it will make there lives a little bit easier!

A lot of people do not know that Twitter as been around and functioning for over four years.
Jack Dorsey, tweeted the first 24 character long tweet that went from communicating with one another to now serving as a human seismograph for tracking, categorizing, and measuring human movement, experiences and responses.

API, the interface implented in the by a softwear program for Twitter is one of the main reasons its so successful. Instead of the Twitter team decising on what people could search came from the extented deveolpment of the actual ecosystem and their specific searches over time.

In those four years Twitter has now seen its biggest use/money maker yet. Earlier this year the launced the option of "promoted tweets" where markerters can pay to get messeaged tweeted in front of other competitors and to an even larger audience.

And has now transformed into a new way to deliever a 24 hour crisis management.

 

Big Brands pay Big Bucks to get there tweets before others. For instance Cocoa Cola and Starbucks are big time players in this new social media market.

Some bussiness offer daily specials, convert events, soups of the day and even cupons with money off for your first visit to their store.

So my suggestion to anyone in the social network, social media, p.r, advertising/marketing, just about any bussiness, bored in class, aspiring college student looking for interns/jobs/ideas or even in the modern world today. Get on the band wagon and "Tweet."

I watched Eat, Pray, Love about two weeks ago, not only did I love it because Julia was in it but IT WAS SUCH AN INSPIRATIONAL MOVIE! I guess it just hit all the buttons I needed attention to at the time.

Every girl these days is so set on having a boyfriend, finding your husband at a young age, loving your high school sweet heart and having that wraparound porch, white picket fence and hydrangea’s. Well, life doesn’t and most of the time never works out that way. If you it does your lucky, or your living a lie.

This movie reassured me on my outlook on relationships right now; you really don’t need a man to make you happy. YOU MAKE YOU HAPPY! YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT!

Yes, you do need a man to break your heart, humiliate you, take you back, look at your qualities and all you have to offer and say no thank you, before you actually realize what an amazing person you are or you possibly can be once you get off the pity party wagon and become independent.

Being lonely sucks, but it helps you just to sit and be with yourself. To stand to be with yourself in peace for more than an hour is a lot harder than you think or at least for me, maybe I’m crazy.

Happy is an emotion not a state of being, so when people say they are un-happy, well do something about it, it doesn’t take THAT much to alter an emotion.

Sometimes you have to be desperate and out of control to find the right answers.

Sometimes its glass of pinot noir or sometimes its pouring yourself into your work. Once you get past the avoidance that it’s okay to be alone, things are actually pleasant.

As crazy as it seems, today I was walking down the street to class, and just caught myself smiling out of control. Not because someone sent me a sweet nothing, not because anything or anyone just because of me and my living life.
